TravelRods Fly Fishing Rods for Fresh and Saltwater
Our flyrods are made with 100% high modulus (55 million), high strain rate, fast action blanks in a matte natural finish: their design combines light weight with substantial hoop strength and impact resistance. Whether you need a gentle presentation or must punch through the wind, these light, crisp, durable rods will deliver.

3 to 11 weight models are available. Rods are available in lengths from 6 1/2 to 10 feet, and range from 3 to 5 sections.

All models come with your choice of Fuji pure titanium frame silicon carbide concept guides or REC Recoil Shape Memory single foot titanium nickel wire guides and tops. The Fuji guides are corrosion free, very slick and really do help the line glide further. The REC guides are by far the lightest available and are also corrcannot corrode.

For the 3-7 weight rods the reel seat is made by REC with a fine thread, skeleton uplocking design and a mortised spacer. The light weight, anodized aluminum hardware is available in your choice of colors: pewter, black, champagne. The "nickel silver" choice is not for a color but for the same seat in real nickel silver! You also have your choice of wood spacers. These reel seats and spacers are saltwater safe.

*****Additionally, for the 3 to 5 weight rods you may choose our lightest reel seat: all flor cork with two double knurled nickel silver retaining rings and a nickel silver plug.
*****For the 7 to 11 weight models you have your choice of three reel seats, all made by REC. [1] REC's light weight, hard anodized, wood spacer (your choice of woods as above) reel seat with round barrel, milled hood and slide band, and twin knurled nuts with floating o-ring.
[2] TRUTRAK SEAT. This reel seat features REC's TruTrak flat milled barrel, slide, and hood: the slide band and hood are always in perfect alignment for reel placement. It has twin knurled locking nuts with o-rings. It is hard anodized in your choice of colors.
[3] ENGRAVEABLE SEAT. This is REC's light weight, hard anodized, aluminum reel seat with round barrel, milled hood and slide band, and twin knurled nuts with floating o-ring.
It is available in your choice of colors; and, if you choose BLACK, then this seat can be LASER ENGRAVED with your choice of fish: albacore, bonefish, bonita, cobia, northern pike, redfish, snook, striper, or tarpon.
